Denim City is an organization, academy and store for denim shopping, innovation and enterprise. My role was:
Media & Social Media
*Implement social media strategies;
*Create social media contents and interact with followers;
*Work with design team to design and maintain the website;
*Create and send newsletters;
*Track and analyze social media performance and publicity.
Visual Merchandising
*Come up with VM presentation and assist the VM team to achieve the most appealing appearance to clients and students.
Events
*Coordinate and organize all kinds of events, including sales events, press releases, stake holders' and VIP clients dinners;
Financing
*Finance mapping cost of events, VM setup and media budget.
Lan Club [Beijing, closed in 2015] was a luxury club designed by Philippe Starck with a restaurant, a champagne bar, a cigar bar and an art gallery. It was the hottest spot that had hosted many international celebrities, VIPs including Tom Cruise, former British Prime Minister of UK Tony Blair, etc.
Publicity
*Plan marketing strategies, advertising budgets to promote brand image;
*Source and manage relationships with traditional media: TV, radio, magazine and newspaper;
*Implement and create social media contents on Weibo, interact with followers and #topics;
*Track, maintain in order to promote brand publicity
Events
*Plan and organize brand's own events: musical bands, festival events, anniversary events, VIP dinners, etc;
*Host on-location events: art gallery openings, photoshoots, TV/film location uses, celebrity visits, etc.
